utterly confusing

hello again, folks..

I have a quick question...

how the heck do you get your dog to stop eating dirt?

Mortimer runs out into the backyard, pees, and then looks for dirt to sink his teeth into..

I can't figure it out.. I yell at him, drag him away, give him something good to chew on, but as soon as possible, he goes right back to it..

he's especially fond of dirt that has been stirred up by moles.. oh, and potted plants, too.

Oh, I also made up a neater composition of my commission prices..

Remember to fill out the order form to get started.

This is what your order will look like when I receive it.

short of standing out there with him and watching him, it's hard to get him to stop a bad behavior. What I would suggest is going out with him, and after he goes Potty, you praise praise praise him and then bring him inside... don't give him the chance to eat dirt outside... Then after maybe a week of this, then stay out there with him for a few minutes after he potties and see if he goes for the dirt... if he does, he gets a big ole NO (or you can use a shakey can to get his attention) and either back inside, or let him wander around more if he's not eating things he shouldn't...
Just my two cents... take em or leave em ;-) let me know how it goes! :)
